The Roar and Datin’s Battle-Rap Delivery
The Roar, Datin’s 2016 God Over Money label debut, is a 14-track, 66-minute album. In a Rapzilla interview at SXSW that year, he traced the record’s forceful delivery to his beginnings in battle rap, where, as he explained, performers are pushed to be aggressive.
The album followed more than two years of work and became the clearest early full-length connection between his battle-tested vocal style and his God Over Money period.

The Menace Movement’s 2025 Rapzilla Distribution Partnership
Datin’s Menace Movement entered a distribution partnership with Rapzilla through Syntax Creative in March 2025. The label’s official site identifies a roster that includes Datin, StefanOtto, Knaladeus, Monster Tarver, Azeeka, C4 Crotona, Dax Hamma, and Jes Norris, showing the venture as a multi-artist operation rather than only an imprint for Datin’s own releases.
