From Wande to Anike in 2024
In summer 2024, the Reach Records artist formerly known as Wande adopted Anike as her public name. She explained that Anike is shortened from her new hyphenated middle name, Ireoluwa-Anike, and means “the goodness of God”; she also said the change separated her from former legal names whose meanings no longer aligned with her faith.
