Forgiven Music: An Album and a Label Vision
Kieran the Light released the 11-song Forgiven Music in 2022, then explained the larger idea in a Holy Culture interview: Forgiven Music was also the label vision he had carried for years. He connected the name to making music for people who feel disqualified, describing his work as a way to communicate forgiveness and acceptance.
That interview also traces his move away from writing fictional boasts in secular rap and places the label alongside his responsibilities as a husband and father. Rapzilla subsequently named him to its 2023 Freshman class.
